2007年博士畢業(yè)于佐治亞州立大學(xué)生物學(xué)系生理專業(yè)。2008-2012年在加州大學(xué)舊金山分校藥理系做博士后研究,師從Roger Nicoll院士。從2013年起相續(xù)任南京大學(xué)模式動(dòng)物研究所教授和副所長(zhǎng),2022年任廣東省智能科學(xué)和技術(shù)研究院研究員和研究組長(zhǎng)。入選海外高層次優(yōu)秀青年人才計(jì)劃,江蘇省雙創(chuàng)人才計(jì)劃和江蘇省杰出青年。主要從事神經(jīng)突觸傳遞和可塑性機(jī)制研究。主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金委基金5項(xiàng),主持和參加科技部課題3項(xiàng)。研究成果發(fā)表在Nature, Neuron, PNAS, Brain, Cell Discovery, Cell Reports, Nature Communications, Mol Psychiatry, eLife等雜志。
認(rèn)知神經(jīng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)與可塑性研究組:
本研究組圍繞中樞興奮性神經(jīng)遞質(zhì)系統(tǒng),研究突觸傳遞和可塑性發(fā)生的基本機(jī)理。研究?jī)?nèi)容包括谷氨酸受體和輔助亞基的基本組成、空間結(jié)構(gòu)、功能調(diào)控、合成和定位機(jī)制,從而理解興奮性突觸傳遞和可塑性發(fā)生的基本規(guī)律。課題組也以病人家系為著力點(diǎn),建立動(dòng)物模型研究突觸紊亂和神經(jīng)認(rèn)知疾病的關(guān)系。
研究組另一個(gè)研究方向圍繞機(jī)體內(nèi)感覺系統(tǒng)的感知和神經(jīng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)展開。機(jī)體內(nèi)感覺系統(tǒng),包括渴覺、飽饑覺、血壓感知、尿意等都是感知機(jī)械以及體內(nèi)化學(xué)信號(hào),并由特殊的神經(jīng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)系統(tǒng)編解碼。研究組以往的研究發(fā)現(xiàn)TMEM63家族編碼了一類新型的機(jī)械和滲透壓敏感的離子通道,今后的研究將圍繞TMEM63家族通道的生理功能以及內(nèi)感覺系統(tǒng)信號(hào)的編解碼展開。
